Your benefits
The sodium-ion cell chemistry is very robust and has a wide range of applications
Store electricity in an environmentally friendly way
Sodium-ion batteries do not use expensive and scarcely available elements such as lithium, cobalt, nickel or copper. Therefore, you can use sodium to store electricity in a very environmentally friendly way.
Charge and discharge quickly
Fully charged in 20 minutes. That over 3,000 times. Initial tests show that even higher peak currents are possible. You can discharge the batteries even faster.
Use up to -30°C
Discharging down to temperatures of -30°C at 80% of power. Charging is possible down to -20°C. Ideally suited for cold regions. If space is limited, simply install it outside.
Battery technology of the future
Sodium is one of the most abundant elements in the world. We mostly know and enjoy it in the form of salt. In contrast to lithium, we can mine sodium easily and in an environmentally friendly way. Furhther, it is available to us in enormous quantities worldwide. Latest developments make it possible to use sodium in batteries, achieving energy densities similar to those achieved with lithium iron phosphate batteries.
Sodium instead of lithium. Batteries made from salt.
